Equip directly from your inventory. Your Portal and Trenchport HUD use the same five wearable slots and active gear bonuses.
Saved Gear Sets
Keep three favorite setups. Save your current gear, then wear any saved set in one switch.
Saving remembers gear names; it does not duplicate or reserve items. Wearing a set needs those pieces in your inventory or already equipped. A missing piece cancels the entire swap.
Character Loadout
Equipping removes one item from your stored inventory; unequipping returns it. Replacing gear automatically returns the previous item. PD armor authorization rules still apply.
Specialty bonuses
Only worn gear counts. Fishing sets improve fish size and rare-catch chances for fishing/crabbing; full matching sets improve crab retention. Scavenger gear grants extra copies of the normally rolled rummage item. Artisan gear accelerates timed station crafts started while worn. Existing crafts are not retroactively shortened.
