Hospital & Medical Help

The Trenchport Hospital Terminal connects patient health, medical records, prescriptions, invoices, treatment, diagnosis, and pregnancy care into one private roleplay system.

Touch the terminal to begin

The menu changes based on who you are.

Anyone can touch the Hospital Terminal. The cloud checks your medical access and opens the correct menu automatically. Normal patients get private self-service options. Authorized hospital staff get the Staff Menu, and the terminal owner also sees System Admin.

No group tag required: hospital staff access is saved in the medical system. The terminal does not use a hospital clock-in or payroll system.

Authorized staff see the Staff Menu. The owner additionally sees System Admin, as shown here.

Patient Services

If you are not saved as hospital staff, touching the terminal opens the Patient Services menu. These options only access records tied to your own avatar.

My HealthReview active medical conditions, symptoms, recovery information, and current medical penalties. Eligible conditions can offer self-treatment.
My RxReview your prescriptions and their status. Prescriptions are filled through the Trenchport Pharmacy, not directly from the hospital terminal.
My BillsReview your hospital invoices, open line-item details, and make supported full or partial payments from your RP bank balance.
HUD MedicalYou can also reach your private Medical information from the HUD through RP → Records → Medical.
Conditions, symptoms & recovery

Using My Health

What you can see

  • Your active condition count and available condition details.
  • Current symptoms and expected recovery information.
  • Combined Max HP, Stamina, thirst, and hunger penalties when a condition applies them.
  • Whether a condition has been diagnosed, treated, or recovered.

Self-treatment

When an active condition allows self-treatment, the system requires the exact treatment item in your cloud inventory. A successful treatment consumes one matching item and can reduce recovery time and active penalties.

Important: viewing symptoms or changing HUD settings does not diagnose you. Hospital staff can examine and diagnose conditions through the medical visit flow.
Hospital writes it, pharmacy fills it

Prescriptions & Medication

1. Staff creates the prescription

Hospital staff can write a prescription for a selected patient and may link it to a recent medical record.

2. Check My Rx

Use My Rx at the terminal or the Medical menu in the HUD to review the prescription, status, quantity, and remaining fills.

3. Fill it at the Pharmacy

Open the Trenchport Pharmacy, choose the active prescription, and pay the listed fill price with RP credits.

4. Medication enters inventory

A successful fill adds the configured medication item and quantity to your cloud inventory and reduces the prescription's remaining fills.

Expired, revoked, completed, or out-of-fills prescriptions cannot be dispensed.

Invoices are part of the medical record

Hospital Bills & Medical Insurance

New medical visits create linked invoices using the hospital's cloud-controlled service catalog. The normal visit fee is included automatically, and staff may add eligible procedures or tests during the visit.

  • My Bills shows only invoices belonging to you.
  • Open an invoice to review its total, payments, remaining balance, status, and line items.
  • Payments may be full or partial. The system rejects overpayments and payments that exceed your available RP credits.
  • Hospital staff may review a selected patient's bills, but they cannot debit that patient's bank account. The patient makes the payment.
  • Medical Insurance is managed through the Bills system. Active coverage reduces eligible newly created hospital service invoices by 50%.
  • Insurance does not retroactively discount older invoices and does not discount pharmacy medication purchases.
Tip: if you use Medical Insurance, make sure the coverage is active before a new eligible hospital invoice is created.

Starting a New Patient Visit

The current terminal uses a guided staff workflow so you do not have to jump between unrelated menus during a visit.

New RecordSelect PatientGuided IntakeExamine + TestsPregnancy Care or DiagnosisPatient Menu
1

Press New Record

The terminal scans for nearby avatars. Choose the patient you are treating from the numbered list.

2

Complete the guided intake

Follow the prompts for the visit and record details. The system supplies the configured visit charge and available billable services.

3

Examine & run tests

The visit flow can surface supported illness and injury findings. Use the medical roleplay to examine the patient before choosing the appropriate next action.

4

Continue to care

Move into Pregnancy Care when appropriate, or continue through diagnosis and treatment for normal medical conditions.

5

Finish in the Patient Menu

The selected patient stays loaded so staff can immediately open Patient Rx, History, or Bills without starting over.

Existing patients

Using Patient Lookup

Patient Lookup is the fast path when you do not need to create a new visit. It scans nearby avatars and opens the selected patient's medical tools.

Patient RxReview that patient's prescription list and prescription details.
HistoryReview stored medical visits and their linked invoice summaries.
BillsReview the patient's invoices and balances. Staff access is view-only for payment.
MainClears the selected patient and returns to the main Staff Menu.

Use New Record for a fresh visit. Use Patient Lookup to open an existing patient's records, Rx, and billing tools.
Private pregnancy medical care

Pregnancy Care at the Hospital

When Pregnancy is enabled and the patient has a relevant pregnancy state, hospital staff can use the medical system for testing and ongoing pregnancy care.

Hospital Pregnancy Test

A test-pending evaluation can receive a billed hospital pregnancy test once its testing window is available. A positive result becomes a confirmed pregnancy.

Prenatal Care

Staff can record prenatal checkups, ultrasound, fetal monitoring, labs, findings, and care plans.

Prenatal Prescriptions

Staff can write supported pregnancy prescriptions. The patient then fills them through the existing Pharmacy system.

Delivery & Aftercare

The system supports delivery records, multiple births, postpartum care, postnatal prescriptions, and other supported pregnancy outcomes.

Privacy: pregnancy status, other-parent information, medication, checkups, and birth details remain inside the private medical system.

Owner tools

What System Admin Is For

System Admin is owner-only and is not part of normal patient care. It manages the hospital's cloud catalogs and authorized staff access.

Service Admin

Review visit fees and procedures, change service prices, and enable or disable supported billable services.

Med Admin

Manage the medical medication catalog used by supported prescription workflows.

Illness Admin

Manage illness catalog settings such as enabled state and cloud-controlled condition behavior.

Staff Admin

Add or remove authorized hospital staff. All saved employees currently have equal medical-record access.

System Admin configures the system. It does not directly make a patient sick.
