Active Warrants
Warrants identify wanted characters and remain part of the Justice record until cancelled, served, or otherwise resolved through authorized roleplay.
Before MidnightGame Studio
Trenchport's fictional Justice system connects police, courts, corrections, bail, bonds, fines, community service, warrants, and permanent character records through the HUD and in-world terminals.

Authorized staff enter charges, sentences, bail, fines, service requirements, notes, and release information into permanent Justice cases. Exact charge definitions and penalties remain subject to the current official law reference and staff rulings.
Booking creates a permanent Justice case tied to the character's Second Life UUID. A case may store the visible Apex case number, charges, sentence, custody time, bail, fines, bond activity, community service, officers, notes, and final release classification.
Warrants identify wanted characters and remain part of the Justice record until cancelled, served, or otherwise resolved through authorized roleplay.
Authorized officers create cases, record charges, set sentence information, and document the arrest or custody scene.
Sentences are measured from the original booking time. Reaching the sentence end may move the case to an awaiting-release state.
An authorized officer or corrections staff member processes the final release when required.
A release classification records how custody ended. Release does not erase the permanent case or its financial and service history.
Eligible players may pay their saved cash-bail balance. Full payment moves the case toward release but does not automatically complete the officer release process.
Eligible cases may request a bondsman. The process can include a request, claim, posted bond, bond fee, and remaining fee balance.
Fines are separate from bail and bond fees. Paying a fine does not automatically shorten a sentence or release the player.
Approved payments are stored with the case so criminal financial consequences can remain part of the character's history.
Community service is completed at approved in-world service nodes. The player must remain near the active node for time to count.
Players can review their own active Justice information and stored notices through the HUD. Authorized police, corrections, judges, lawyers, bondsmen, supervisors, mobile-record users, and service nodes have separate permissions and tools.

Case updates and notices are stored so players do not lose them simply because they were offline. Case updates and private notices are stored so players do not lose important Justice information simply because they were offline.
